Well, today is a big day! It is my first mother's day (which was AWESOME!) and it's also my baby's half-birthday! That's right, Alex turned SIX MONTHS OLD today...I cannot believe it!! He has grown sooo much, and the time has gone by soo fast yet I feel like I've been his mother forever! Waking up to his beautiful smiling face makes everything I do worth while. His smile can take away all the saddness I may feel. It's truly amazing, I really can't even describe it in words! Here we are the day after we got home from the hospital (he was 4 days old):
And here he is today at 6 months old!
What a big boy! To think about all the things he's "acomplished" in his short 6 month life is so crazy...he's mastered the laugh (which is quite addicting, and still makes me teary eyed):
And he's started to eat rice cereal, although when I mixed it with water instead of formula he was NOT impressed:
