Blog: It's official...he's ONE!

I cannot believe how fast time has gone by this past year. This week, my baby turned ONE! It's so amazing at how much he has changed and how much we have changed with him. All good changes though! He was born 8 lbs 8 oz, at one year old he is 27 lbs 2 oz! Such a big boy! We are so truly blessed to have him in our lives, he makes everything so much better! To remember how he was at 12 months:

Drinks from a sippy cup except for first thing in the morning
Points at everything
Says Mama, Dada, Grandpa, Grandma, ball, and cracker
Signs milk, eat, and thank you...CAN sign but usually won't, more
Waves bye-bye when he feels like it
Can climb up the stairs when he wants to
Walks with the help of at least one hand
Feeds himself while holding a spoon/fork
If food is on the spoon/fork he will bring it to his mouth
Naps 2-3 times per day, wakes around 9 for a bottle and goes straight back to sleep til noon-ish, naps again around 3:30 or 4 but sometimes skips this nap especially if we are not at home, naps again around 8 or 9 til 11pm or midnight when he wakes for a sippy and to play for another hour or two.
Bedtime routine: Sippy cup, bath, read bedtime story, brush teeth, prayers, into crib.
