Alex's 8th tooth popped through the other day and he now has four on the top and four on the bottom. He got about 3 of them within 2 days so I thought once this 8th one was in we'd get a break from teething for a while! No such luck :( Today, after laying him down for a nap (and him telling me he wasn't ready by screaming) we saw a huge bump in his mouth! So we went in to investigate and sure enough, he has a molar coming in!! Good grief, I feel so bad for this kid! It seems like his teeth want to come in 2 or 3 at a time! Maybe that's a good thing and we will be done with teething sooner rather than later!
It appears the sign language is starting to sink in! He used to do the milk sign, but hadn't done it for months. Lately he has started to do it again! And today, after him crying for 5 minutes and us not being able tofigure out why I realized maybe he was hungry. I did the sign for eat and asked if he wanted to eat something and he immediately stopped crying and did the eat sign which he has NEVER done before! So as of right now he knows how to say milk, eat, more, and he can wave. Next I have to teach him please and thank you. I'm not sure he'll ever say thank you but when I tell him to say "thank you" and do the sign for it he shakes his head yes! hehe
