At (about) 18 months old...

Alex is almost 18 months old so we're just going to round up a couple weeks and call him an official 1.5 year old! Here's all the wonderful things my TODDLER can do at this point in his life!

• Gives GREAT hugs and kisses, he will actually squeeze you now! And very recently, he's been doing hugs without being asked to! So sweet >
• Can point to and identify on himself his nose, ears, mouth, eyes, cheeks, teeth, knees, toes, feet, and hands! How exactly this happened, I do not know as we didn't sit there and specifically work on this with him!
  
• Can point to and identify animals (specifically ducks which he calls "quack quack's" and dogs). He identify's dogs by their name "doggy" he says but all other animals he calls by the sound they make, like ducks are quack quacks. Cows are "moo", cats are "meOOOWWW's" etc...it's pretty darn cute :)
  
• Can point and identify family members in pictures and even identifies himself, "EYE-ix" is how he says his name lol
  
• Recently, we moved him from 2 naps a day, to 1. His typical day is wake up at 10-11 and have breakfast. Snack/lunch sometimes before nap if he goes down early, but otherwise he has that after nap. Down for a nap between 2-3 for a about 1.5 hours. Dinner at 6:30 or 7 and plays til 9-10:30ish when he's down for the night.
  

And pretty soon we'll have to start thinking about moving him to a big boy bed! And then before you know it, he will be TWO!!! Holy cow...I know I say it ALL.THE.TIME. but man, where does all that time go!?!?!?!
